Do you judge yourself and then judge yourself for judging yourself?

It’s a double whammy for women who’ve done lots of inner work. It’s like you’ve read enough self help books to know you’re supposed to just accept where you’re at and practice self love.

But the truth for most of us is, we don’t.

We get impatient with our process. Or intolerant. Or frustrated or straight up discouraged.

But then just before our discouragement turns into depression, that other “self-helpy” voice chimes in again and says…

“Just accept yourself!”
“Love yourself no matter what!”
“Don’t worry what others think!”

So we go back to trying to think positive, meditate on self-love, create our reality, attract what we want and do all the “right” things.

But somehow it doesn’t work.

“I’m doing everything right! Why is this happening!”

This is where I meet so many women.

Welcome to incongruence in action.

Incongruence is when your gut, your heart and your head are contradicting or conflicting…

For example, let’s say you get a gut instinct about something that will actually move you closer to the real, authentic you – like that gut sense you have that you’re meant for more and here to do something bigger.

But then your fears crop up…“What if I fail?” …”What if I get it wrong?”

The fears then start feeding you limiting or negative beliefs about who you are and what is possible…”I’m not  ready yet,” “No one is listening,” “I don’t know where to start”…

Before you know it, you’re holding back and hiding, afraid to put yourself out there and creating a whole bunch more reasons why what you’re doing is justified.

When this happens, and you’re out of integrity with your truth, it sets up a sense of discomfort and dis-ease inside you that blocks you from the real, authentic you.

Our tendency,, then, is to seek a sense of ease and comfort – which usually shows up in the form of self sabotage, distraction patterns or addictions.

That’s when we’ll find ourselves getting caught up in procrastinating, or going into “I’m-too busy-and-have-too-much-on-my-plate” overwhelm. Or we just say “F-It” and e hide in the comfort of tv, food or alcohol.

It’s exhausting. All this trying to figure out what we need, trying to get it right, trying to distract ourselves from the discomfort…

No wonder we get fatigued, frustrated and struggle with self love.

So how do we get free from our inner conflict and stop judging ourselves?

What helped me in getting free from self-judgement was first learning what NOT to do.

You can find out what that one thing was along with my 3 tips to getting free from judgement in this video I made for you called How To Stop Judging Yourself:

[CLICK HERE TO WATCH THE VIDEO]

In this video you’ll also learn…

  1. The common mistake most smart, high achievers make that keeps them stuck (and what to do instead)

  2. How to make sure you’re not piling on more judgement inadvertently (and the simple strategy to clear it all)

  3. Why being in your head is holding you hostage from freedom (and the secret to getting out of it!)

  4. BONUS: The practice that will open you up to receive the clarity, support and guidance you need.

When you get free from judgement, you open yourself to joy.

And since joy is the fuel of freedom, fulfillment and fun, when you can stop judging yourself, you open yourself up to all 3.
