What is your resistance pattern? Do you get overwhelmed or anxious when life feels like too much? Or have a tendency to procrastinate? Or maybe you distract with food, alcohol, tv or social media?

Whatever your go-to resistance pattern is, chances are it’s holding you back from being the brightest light you’re here to be.

Especially if you’re a high achiever or someone who’s been on a spiritual path for a while. Then, the more you get held back by your sabotage cycle the more frustrated, disappointed, embarrassed and exhausted you can get.

I can certainly relate to that. I got in major resistance last week. Everything got irritating – I felt misunderstood and was convinced I wasn’t going to get what I needed.

Does that ever happen for you?

If you can relate, I want to share with you the major breakthrough I got around resistance that allowed me to move beyond it with ease and actually launch to a whole new level of freedom.

The problem with being in your resistance pattern is that when you’re “in it” it’s so convincing a reality that you lack the ability to see beyond it or connect with any of the lofty ideals you know to be true, like “you are loved” or “the universe has your back.”

Instead, you’re stuck in the same thinking that birthed the resistance in the first place. From that perspective, it’s easy for the mind to wander into more negative thinking…

“It’s my fault – I should figure this out on my own and not burden to anyone else.”

“I can’t get my stuff together but no one can know that so I need to hide…”

“Nothing is going to change and I’ll never “get” this so what’s the point!”

That’s how resistance self-perpetuates.

It births from a fear-based mental construct in the current paradigm you’re living in, and then that current paradigm dictates how things are, what it’s like and what you need – which can keep you in perpetual fear, lack and doubt.

So what do we do?

Just like Einstein says…

“no problem can be solved from the same consciousness that created it.”

So the first thing we need to do is ditch the current paradigm of our thinking.
